About Us
We are bat admirers with a strong commitment to safeguarding their habitats and populations in the Himalayan landscape, one of the threatened biodiversity hotspots yet least known in terms of biodiversity profile. Our goal is to understand the diversity of one of the understudied mammalian fauna and enhance conservation through research, education, and collaboration.

Our Movement

Outreach
Bat conservation awareness is our top priority, given bats are associated with misconception and superstitious belief in the entire Himalayan landscape. We strive to educate future generations and communities through teaching and skill generating activities.

Research
Bat research is our another top priority. We aim to promote bats conservation using modern ecological and molecular genetics approaches. We seek to understand bats interactions with nature as well as humans to develop effective strategies for their protection.

Networking
There aren't many bat researchers working in the Himalayan landscape. We aim to establish a network among researchers that will help early bat enthusiasts enhance their careers and promote their bat research and conservation work.
